Sabley Peralta is a self-taught artist that started painting 4 years ago. Born in New York but spent many years in South America (Guayaquil, Ecuador).
Peralta has always been interested in working with her hands. As a child, she was excited about textiles and ceramic crafts. Today, Sabley enjoys painting because it fills her soul with happiness and color. Peralta’s paintings are influenced by Ecuador, New England, Mother Nature, and her imagination. Her favorite technique is to use acrylic paints, and acrylic paints and textiles. Currently, Sabley is working on making her paintings digital using NFTs.
Peralta’s paintings are currently exhibited in UMASS, Christina’s House, in several churches and Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
