Artistic, Expressive, Useful and Durable best describe the pieces that are created at The CT Board of Chefs. Marc and Mary are a husband and wife team with a passion for fine woodworking, fine food and beautiful photography. Through combined artistic skill and vision, they have been creating unique, artisan, heirloom quality kitchen woodenware since 2021.

Marc has had a lifelong passion for woodworking and cooking. Degrees in both Architecture and Education as well as experience in the professional kitchen have provided a unique foundation for creating both useful and artistic versions of kitchen related tools and accessories. When he’s not woodworking, Marc has been cheffing it up for the past decade at various establishments around CT.

Mary is currently the creative and marketing force behind CT Board of Chefs. Having spent 30+ years as a Floral Designer and Instructor, with a Degree in Graphic Design, and a good sense of color and balance, Mary applies those skills into her woodworking as well as her photographic designs.

Their woodworking is currently featured in Spectrum Gallery’s Summer Art Festival held on the green in Essex Connecticut and is available in select retail shops along the CT River Valley.
