Blue Heart Bag, leather

Connecticut-born Monique Fazzone has spent a lifetime pursuing fiber arts. Fazzone’s passion for over 30 years has been working as a professional costume technician and pattern maker. She has worked with the Yale Repertory Theater (David Geffen School of Drama), Hartford Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, Goodspeed Musical Theatre, Santa Fe Opera, and the Broadway production of “Hamilton.”
Fazzone also has a vibrant custom clothing business, primarily concentrating on Bridal and women’s formal wear. When not basting in the sun, she spends her summers teaching sewing at the Spectrum gallery’s Fashion camp. More recently, after purchasing an industrial sewing machine capable of sewing leather (and in hopes of reinventing herself), Fazzone has discovered her love of making bags and accessories. Hopefully you will enjoy these creations as much as she does making them.
Fazzone’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
