Miamus Pond, limited edition fine art photograph, 16in h x 40in w

Zili Zhang is a fine art photographer living in Cos Cob, Connecticut. He has been taking photograph over 20 years. His subjects range from landscape to people, from street documentary to travel. His work “Looking down at the bottom of Glenn Canyon Dame” won a place of finalist in the prestigious Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest, out of over 60,000 submissions from over 120 countries. He started only recently to make his prints available for the market, since then he has been exhibiting in juried art shows, galleries, community art centers in Connecticut and New York City. His photography combines both elements from oriental arts and western arts. In the beginning, photography is just his response to the beauty of the world and now he started to use landscape and figures to express deeper feelings. His motto is “Simple. Beautiful. Meaningful”.

Zhang is currently a featured artist in Spectrum Gallery’s Autumn Art Festival on the Town Green in Madison Connecticut.
