Lucy in the Sky Wall Sculpture

Terry Van Heusen earned a BFA in Illustration from RISD. Her career in the commercial arts afforded various opportunities including advertising, design, and sculpture for the giftware industry. As Art Director in the Creative Services Department at Hasbro Inc., the toy company, she designed packaging for Play-Doh® and other global brands.

Now retired, Terry works in her home studio, mainly hand building in clay. She finds it the perfect medium for story telling – combining color, texture, line, and sculptural accents. Her objective is to create work that delights the eye.
