Sharyn Farrell received a box camera from her father at the age of 8 and has been shooting ever since.  She has traveled to 19 countries focusing on photojournalism and abstract photography.

Education and Memberships in the field of visual arts include The University of Connecticut, Manchester Community College, Middlesex Community College, Southeastern Connecticut Film, and Photographers for Hire (PFH).

She has apprenticed for such professional photographers as Steve Murtha, Richard Bergen, Peter Glass, Steven Laschever, Cynthia Lang and more.

Her work has been exhibited and published in Vegetarian Magazine, The Cougar newpaper, The Buttonwood Tree, Newington Town Crier, Newington Library, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and CD Cover Photo: God Blez.

Ms Farrell is Co-Author/Photographer of the book: Love in Puebla, Mexico, now sold on Amazon. Farrell’s Photography is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT.
