Lakeside Reflection, fine art photograph
Upon moving from New York City to Newtown, CT at the age of 7, Michael Briglia was completely captivated by the outdoors and became an avid fisherman. It wasn’t just the fishing that consumed him, but the beauty of the settings as well. Michael attended the University of Connecticut. graduating with degrees in Economics and Psychology.
His profession as a dealer in antiques and collectibles helped him develop his eye for beauty, which greatly enhanced his abilities as a self-trained photographer. Through fishing and boating, inevitably a beautiful shot would present itself, and Michael would do his very best to capture the splendor before him. His works often feature water, both fresh and salt. Michael resides on a tidal river in Westbrook and does his best to capture and share the beauty present along the Connecticut coast.
Briglia’s photography is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
