Maria Johnson works in so many mediums that her business card reads “Girl’s Got To Focus!”

With a degree in painting from Hartford Art School and a range of exhibits and awards behind her, she nonetheless has only recently begun showing at outdoor art fairs, most recently the 2022 Summer Arts Festival in Essex, CT.

Her success there — selling everything from earrings to paintings to ceramics and more — has encouraged her to keep at it!

Johnson’s artwork is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
