Lighthouse, at Golden Hour, acrylic
Lori Fox is an acrylic artist whose work celebrates the beauty and serenity of the natural world. Inspired by landscapes, coastal vistas, and the ever-changing play of light and color, her paintings capture moments of peace, movement, and connection with nature.
After a fulfilling career as a teacher in the New York City public schools, where she taught fine arts, commercial and technical art, as well as architecture, Lori embraced painting as a full-time creative pursuit. Retirement has opened the door to a life centered on artistic expression, where painting and music enrich her days and inspire her work. She continues to refine her craft as a member of the Clinton Art Society.
Through vibrant acrylics and a love of the outdoors, Lori invites viewers to pause, reflect, and experience the beauty found in both familiar and imagined landscapes. Each painting is an expression of her appreciation for nature and the joy of creating. Her work can be found in many private collections, reflecting the appreciation of collectors who connect with her distinctive vision and style. Lori’s paintings are currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT.
