Kari tew is a multi-media artist.Her work has been seen in ceramics monthly, clay timesand country living magazine. Kari’s career began after earning her BFA in Ceramics from theMaine College of Art & Design. After graduating, she started Tolk Ceramics and ran thebusiness until starting a family in 2001. She and her husband, an arborist, then started afamily tree business they’ve run for 23 years and counting.

Kari has a studio inNew HavenAt Makehaven, a vibrant creative community where she is ateacherof pottery and a learner of new skills.Kari also writes and produces television forThe Community Voice Channel, where storytelling art and education connect.Kari’smembershipsincludeCTauthors and publishers association, CT cartoon society, CT filmand tv alliance, Marlborough arts center,CTfly fishing association, USTA.
