Freedom, Mixed Media

Jude Niosi is a Connecticut-based multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work bridges design and fine art. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts and Design from Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Thinking from Bay Path University. Her undergraduate studies included art history, drawing, and painting.

With a career spanning decades in branding, digital product design, and visual storytelling, she brings a designer’s sensibility for structure, composition, and narrative to her painting practice. Working primarily in mixed media and oil, Jude creates expressive, layered works that move between abstract realism and more conceptual explorations. Her paintings investigate themes of identity, power, conflict, perception, and resilience, while also embracing experimentation, observation, and the unexpected.

Her work has been selected for juried exhibitions at Essex Art Gallery in Essex, Connecticut, and Gallery 25 in New Milford, Connecticut, along with additional regional exhibitions throughout the state. She is a member of Arts Center Killingworth, Spectrum Art Gallery, Essex Art Association, Lyme Art Association, and the New Britain Museum of American Art. Niose’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT.
