Joann Fleischman never considered herself artistic, but during the early months of Covid she decided to try something new — stained glass. Fleischman took a few classes at a wonderful local studio in North Branford and was immediately hooked. After building a full career following college, Joann never expected to discover a creative passion like this later in life. Today, while working in the IT department at a local high school, Joann continues to enjoy learning, experimenting, and watching each piece come to life in the light.

Fleischmann’s stained glass is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
