Workshop will be held at Spectrum Gallery, 61 Main Street, Centerbrook, CT

Create in pen and ink a beautiful holiday illustration that can be given as a one-of-a-kind gift that can be easily framed and given to someone special with love and good wishes—a gift to remember! You will be introduced to the basics of ink application, including line work and stippling using micron pens. This one-day workshop will focus on how to draw leaves, sliced fruits, evergreen branches and pinecones. During this three-hour session, Nancy Bentivegna, a seasoned instructor who has taught many multiple week sessions will provide you with the skills to begin drawing botanical illustrations in this medium and tips to make your drawings more successful.  Pen and ink is great fun; give it a try!  No drawing experience necessary.  All materials provided.
