Workshop will be held at Spectrum Gallery, 61 Main Street, Centerbrook, CT

We will begin with some simple brainstorming, discuss the best forms, build a small armature and choose a color palette for your figure or ornament. You will then be ready to learn the “ins and outs” of needle felting. The “fashion design” step of forming the wool is the fun part as your character or animal becomes a reality.

The teacher will demonstrate different concepts so students will have lots of creative, exciting options.

For this workshop we will use soft, colorful merino wool roving, special barbed needles, yarn and embellishments.  (Extra take-home kits can be purchased at the workshop)
