Rebekah Church is a local Connecticut artist that focuses on both illustration and sequential art. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art. She has self-published a comic book titled Prodelle. The comic tells the story of a young Prodellian named Macurey and her adventures on the fictional planet called Prodelle. The story blends fantasy, science fiction, and animal characters into a single book theme. Rebekah co-directed and participated herself in the CCSU Spring Art Show of April 2022, where college art students gathered to sell and feature their creative pieces. She was also co-curator of an art show titled “eMOTION” at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art located in New Haven, CT. The exhibition featured illustration, animation, and sequential art. Rebekah lives in New Britain with her cat, Quill, who is one lucky cat, as she’s the mascot for Rebekah’s art business called “Reebs Illustrations”.
