Rosanna Mitchell is a contemporary impressionistic artist who moved to Branford CT from Jackson Hole WY where she lived for 25 years.  She was a partner in a successful Interior Design studio/gallery which represented her art along with other Jackson Hole artists.

Eclectic in style she is inspired by nature and is always looking for new ways to express her vision and creativity.  Landscapes, Florals and Trees are frequent subjects that are painted in a variety of mixed mediums including collage papers that she handcrafts herself.  Her love of color, texture and organic shapes creates art that compels one to come in for a closer look.

Mitchell has studied at The School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of Design, and FIT in New York City. She is a committee member at the Keyes Gallery in Stony Creek CT and is a member of both BACA in Branford CT and The Guilford Art Association in Guilford CT. Mitchell’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
