True Blue Heart Standing Glass Panel

Robin Malvezzi has been creating Stained Glass pieces for over 30 years.  She grew up in New Jersey and after college worked in the Corporate World.  Malvezzi moved to CT when she got married and had her children here.  When her children were very young, Robin decided to take classes to learn how to create Stained Glass Art using the copper foil method.  She started classes at the Guilford Art Center in her Town and Vijon Studios in Old Saybrook. It was such a joy and calming experience.  She felt an instant connection with creating Stained Glass pieces.  Robin always loved the way the light reflects through the colored glass.  Malvezzi’s passion is to incorporate items from nature into her Artwork, such as Shells, Geodes, Glass Beads and Crystals.

Robin feels it so rewarding to handmake something you love and have others enjoy it as well.  She is thankful to all who appreciate Handmade Art and Artisans.  Malvezzi sells and Shows her work in Artisan Shops and Galleries on the Shoreline, and her stained glass is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, CT.
