Marjan (pronounced “mar-john”) obtained her Bachelor and Masters in Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna, Italy. She was also a painting instructor at the Bologna and the Ravenna Academies of Fine Arts. She has been a professional painter for over 20 years with exhibitions in Venice, Milan, Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, and Berlin. In 2017, she displayed her painting “Life” at a special exhibition at the Louvre Museum, Paris. Her subjects include flowers, portraits, and calligraphy. Marjan has also worked as a restorer of renaissance and baroque Italian paintings and frescoes.
Marjan was trained as a classical singer. In 2023, Marjan moved to Guilford, Connecticut and is presently showing her work at Spectrum Art Gallery and Artisans Store in Centerbrook, CT. Marjan is also a featured artist in Spectrum Gallery’s Autumn Art Festival on the Town Green in Madison Connecticut.
