Cornucopia, fine art photograph on gallery wrapped canvas, 18in h x 24in w
Lawrence J. Bilansky, JD, CPA’s interest in photography stems back to the fifth grade when he got his first camera. In college he worked as a newspaper photographer for the UWM Post and as a freelance stringer for several local weekly papers. Larry moved on to become a wedding photographer for one of Milwaukee’s more prestigious studios coming to CT.
One of Larry’s specialties is Nontraditional Portraiture, which he defines as anything you want it to be other than the standard studio portraits. Included, along with studio work such as intimate portraits (often referred to as “boudoir” photography) and figure studies, is live action photography – performance photographs of theatre, sports, dance, musicians and workplace portraits.
His works have been exhibited in a number of juried art shows as well as several galleries in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Reading, Pennsylvania. Bilansky’s photography is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
