Kristine Schiavi is relatively new to acrylic painting but thoroughly enjoys the process. She paints land and seascapes but also enjoys still life subjects as well as portraiture. She has been painting for about five years, which started at Spectrum Gallery in a class taught by Jay Babina.
Currently, Schiavi works part time at Fenwick Golf Course. She retired from Wesleyan University where she worked in development and then was an administrative assistant for the Romance Languages and Literatures department.
Schiavi’s paintings have been exhibited in Madison Art Society and Clinton Art Society member shows as well as the Acton Public Library. Her work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
