You Hold the Keys, mixed media

Kristin Elise is a painter and mixed media artist from Madison, Connecticut. She is deeply passionate about art in every form and is endlessly curious about the natural world around her. In addition to creating art, Kristin teaches art classes to adults and children of all ages. She taught college art and design for fifteen years, facilitated art therapy sessions for six years, and currently teaches K-8th at Our Lady of Mercy Prep Academy. She enjoys spending time doing any and everything beach/water-related, relaxing with friends and her English lab, having philosophical conversations, and traveling internationally to become completely immersed in new cultures. She earned her BA in Studio Art from The College of Wooster and her MFA in Art & Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Kristin’s artwork has been featured in Colorado Creative Living and has been exhibited across the United States, most recently at Spectrum Art Gallery.
