Kirche Zeile is a Connecticut-based artist whose acrylic and watercolor paintings explore the sacred presence within birds and other animals. Through luminous color, expressive form, and a reverence for the natural world, her work invites viewers to recognize the interconnectedness of all living beings and the quiet divinity that resides in nature. Based in Bethel, Connecticut, Kirche has exhibited her work in galleries throughout the tri-state area, most recently with the Arts Alliance of Stratford and the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. In addition to her fine art practice, Kirche is an accomplished costume designer whose work has been presented in theaters throughout the United States. Her parallel careers reflect a lifelong commitment to visual storytelling, exceptional craftsmanship, and the transformative power of art.

Kirche earned her MFA in Theatre Design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied with Christopher Young, Creative Director of Tiffany Patrimony and Global Creative Visual Merchandising; Tony Award-winning costume designer Susan Hilferty; and acclaimed opera and ballet designer Campbell Baird. Kirche’s paintings are currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
