Joanna Kline is originally from the Boston area, but has resided in Connecticut since 1999. She studied fine art at the School for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Tufts University as well as receiving a post graduate certificate in Museum Education through Massachusetts College of Art and Design.  Joanna studied the history of dress and reproduction costuming on the job while while working at museums such as Colonial Williamsburg, Plimoth Pawtuxet Museums, Kent State University Museum and Mystic Seaport.  As someone who loves nature and animals, Joanna does animal portraits in colored pencil and loves sculpting and exploring animals through the art of needle felting, paper quilling, fabric piecing and paper collage.

Kline’s artworks are currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
