Jo-Ann Fleischman never considered herself artistic, but during the early months of Covid she decided to try something new — stained glass. Fleischman took a few classes at a wonderful local studio in North Branford and was immediately hooked. After building a full career following college, Jo-Ann never expected to discover a creative passion like this later in life. Today, while working in the IT department at a local high school, Jo-Ann continues to enjoy learning, experimenting, and watching each piece come to life in the light.

Fleischman’s stained glass is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
