Golden Autumn Stained Glass Panel

Jo-Ann Fleischman discovered stained glass during the beginning of the Covid pandemic when she was looking for something new to explore. She took several classes at a local glass art studio, where she learned the basics and so much more and quickly found herself drawn to the process.

The rich colors of glass and the way light brings each piece to life continue to inspire her. Since then, she has continued to explore the medium, experimenting with new techniques to find new ways to bring her ideas to life.

Outside of stained glass, she works in the IT department at a local high school. Working with glass gives her a creative balance to her career in technology. There’s something especially rewarding about working through the process and seeing it come together in the finished piece.

Fleischman’s stained glass is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
