Jennifer Chaffee has been engaged in drawing and painting since her childhood. She has consistently been drawn to representational or figurative artwork. Her objective is to capture the aesthetic appeal of tangible subjects through still life and landscape oil and pastel paintings.
Jennifer has participated in exhibitions, received awards, and sold her work in juried shows at various institutions, including the Marlborough Art Center, the CT Watercolor Society, the East Hampton Art Association, the Lyme Art Association, the West Hartford Art League, and the Art Center East. Over the past three years, she has held three solo exhibitions at the Marlborough Town Hall and East Hampton Town Hall.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Applied Arts degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is actively pursuing her art education through workshops and classes in oil, pastel, and watercolor painting.
Currently, Jennifer serves as the vice president of the Board of Directors at the Marlborough Arts Center. In addition to promoting and collaborating with other art organizations, she organizes member group and solo art exhibits to foster the growth and development of fellow artists.
