Jane Milardo

Portfolio Categories: Festival Artists.

Jane Milardo is an artist from Waterford, CT, who has created art all her life, but most of the pieces have never been exhibited before, because she was sidelined by another career. She was a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 30 years. Prior to that, Jane was a custom picture framer for 13 years. She is now retired and ready to exhibit and sell her art. Most of her pieces are large nudes done in pastel, when Jane was a student at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts. Her professor, Deane Keller, told her that she did not need lessons, she needed a studio. The nudes are professionally framed with museum standards. Jane also has some charcoal portraits of famous people, professionally framed as well. Jane is in the process of making all of her artwork into giclees. Giclees are high quality images on archival paper. More recently, Jane has made some abstract pieces in acrylic and will continue to do so. She won a blue ribbon at an art show in Middletown, and another at a show in Waterford. Jane is now a senior citizen, and ready to spend her time showing and selling her art. She hopes you enjoy it as much as she does! Milardo is a featured artist at Spectrum Gallery’s Summer Arts Festival on the Essex Town Green.
