Georgia Stathoulas is a self-taught oil artists known for her expressive portraits of children. Her work is held in private collections in Greece and the United States and is included in the permanent collection of Boston Children’s Hospital, and the permanent collection of East Hartford Library. She has presented solo exhibitions in both Greece and Connecticut. Over the years she has exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions, with accepted works shown in institutions and galleries including the Slater Memorial Museum, Mystic Museum of Art, Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), New Haven Paint & Clay Club, and others.  Her honors include First Prize in the Capitol Arts Program Exhibit at Capital Community College, Best in Show at the Art League of New Britain, Purchase Award from the East Hartford Public Library, and People’s Choice Awards at ArtSpace Gallery in Hartford.

Georgia Stathoulas is an active member of the Connecticut Women Artists (CWA), where she has served in leadership roles, including Vice President, as well as a member of the Art League of New Britain (ALNB) and Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). Driven by a lifelong passion for painting, she continually challenges herself to grow as an artist, drawing inspiration from fellow artists and using paint to explore the beauty, emotion, and human connection that inspire her work.
