Gary’s journey in photography began in high school with a Nikon film camera, inspired by the grandeur of the West Coast’s national parks. As life led him to the East Coast, his love for boating introduced him to seascapes and sunsets, while his grandchildren’s energy drew him into sports and action photography. Advancements in camera technology and AI-powered editing have expanded his creative horizons, recently exemplified in his work capturing a solar eclipse in Montreal. A graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Gary has honed his craft through photo development courses, Nikon School seminars, and FAA commercial drone certification. His professional experience includes legal photography, real estate and yacht marketing, and commercial videography. His work has been recognized in exhibitions such as the Shoreline Arts Alliance Images 2024 and displayed at Branford Hospice. His work is also displayed at Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, CT. As a member of the North Haven Photo Club, he has earned multiple awards in juried contests. Through his photography, Gary aims to freeze moments in time, inviting viewers to see the world through his lens.
