Edwin Lopez is a self-taught artist. Born in New York City, he currently resides in Connecticut. Lopez is a passionate and expressive painter who draws upon his urban and rural experiences as inspiration for the settings and subject matter in his paintings. Working on both canvas and wood Lopez adapts the size of the piece to fit into found vintage frames that he refurbishes and reuses.
Lopez’s artwork is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
