Dana Filibert’s work invokes humor, creating sculptures that incorporate animal forms with references to the decorative arts in stylized cloud formations, creating a display of playful mischief.

Internationally exhibited sculptor and installation artist, she received a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA, and an M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, MI.  Her work is in the permanent collections of the Danforth Art Museum, Chrysler LCC, and the Philadelphia Art Hotel, as well as several private collections. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellowship Award, the Ruth & Harold Chenven Foundation Grant, and the Artist’s Resource Trust Fund Grant. Dana received a Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship for Sculpture and acted as a juror for the Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowships in Sculpture/Installation/New Genres. Currently, her work can be seen on display in the permanent collection exhibit at the Danforth Museum in Framingham, MA and at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
