Christina Cowan is a full-time artist in Connecticut as well as a licensed social worker. She grew up surrounded by art and involved in art, as both her mom and aunt are artists, sharing an art studio together. Christina has volunteered at the Killingworth Art Center while in high school. She is currently a student with the Milan Art Institute in their Mastery Program where her art has grown immensely, and she has truly found her voice and unique artistic style. Her artistic voice focuses on the beauty of women and femininity, using poetry and glamorous colors, texture, and fashion to bring happiness, empowerment, and joy to viewers.

Cowan notably has been accepted into multiple juried art shows, has had a solo art show and exhibit in the Clinton Art Gallery where she has now become a member, and has been accepted into three art books and one magazine with a virtual art exhibit. Christina’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
