Two Session Acrylic Studio

Description:

The Boston Garden scene reflects the colors of Autumn along with cool peaceful cool tones accompanied by people enjoying the park. In this 2-week session we will develop the scene from early blocking in of colors and shapes into the finer details that will develop it into a 3-dimensional looking painting right before your eyes. Beginners and more experienced artists are totally welcome. You will be guided along on this artistic journey and have fun in the process. Instructor will help each artist with color mixing as well as any drawing details.

Dates: Fridays, December  2 & 9

Time: 12:30-2:30pm

Cost: $64 for two classes; Members save $6

Teaching Artist Jay Babina is a painter with over 40 years experience, as well as, a practicing graphic designer and illustrator. He works in watercolor, acrylic and oil, and various drawing mediums. He paints both en plein air and in-studio works, approaching art with passion and enthusiasm. Jay is a graduate of The Silvermine College of Art and University of Bridgeport where he studied graphic design. He has shown at numerous galleries in the east and is involved with many art societies throughout CT.
