At Gallery: Creating Frameable Art with Sea Glass Workshop

Description:

Create a one of a kind sea glass art piece using sea glass from the Connecticut Shore.  In this workshop you will be inspired with many ideas whether you want to make a beach themed picture, family picture, poem / Scripture verse or have another unique idea, this class provides you with everything you need. Fish, frogs, seahorses, dogs, cats, flowers, animals, butterflies can be created with sparkling sea glass into a framed work of art. Come and enjoy this very popular art form. You will be amazed at what you can do! Children 12 and older are welcome.

Time: 1:00-4:00pm

Cost: $45 per person; plus $15 material fee paid to instructor; Members save $4

Teaching Artist Lori Little is a retired elementary art teacher from the towns of Colchester and Cheshire with 40 years of teaching experience. In her retirement she works part time as the Education Coordinator at The New England Carousel Museum where she teaches art to homeschooled children, gives museum tours and coordinates education/museum programs to area school children.
