Online via Zoom: Colored Pencil Classes


There are so many ways to work when using colored pencil; a more modest of the art mediums. During this class, you'll wonder why you have not used colored pencils before.  Sketch lightly, go deep with rich color, hatch, feather and more.  We will explore color palettes and values as well as learn these techniques. Great for studies, landscapes, portraits and animals.  Demos given throughout the class sessions. Material list sent upon registration.

Dates: Tuesdays, March 23, 30; April 6, 13.  Makeup April 20

Time:  6:30-8:30pm

Teaching Artist, Lisa Arnold, received her BFA at Syracuse University, attended the Arts Students League in NYC and studied at the School of Visual Arts.  Before pursuing her free-lance career as an illustrator and painter, she worked for Conde Nast Publications. Lisa has been painting and exhibiting her art for about twenty years.

She studied painting and drawing with Benny Andrews and Seong Moy. She also works as a free-lance designer and illustrator. Her work has been shown at the Silvermine Art Faculty Show, New Haven Paint and Clay Club and the Woman’s Caucus for Art Group Show in NY.  Lisa’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
