Emily Dale has been working with fabric for over two decades. Growing up in a family of interior decorators gave her a unique advantage in teaching herself how to make interesting and beautiful things with fabric. Having spent years working with several upscale New England decorators, quality inspiration and scraps of designer fabrics were always available. Emily took this love of piecing and went on to win blue ribbons for her use of denim in contemporary takes on traditional quilting. Now residing in iconic Mystic, CT, inspired by the river and the historic seaport she neighbors, she is meticulously hand crafting these nautical flag decorator’s throw pillows. She is currently growing her business by introducing her pillows into local retail locations. Emily makes a living as a pastry chef.
