Watercolorist Tatiana Ferraro was born in Poland and moved to the United States at age four, spending her formative years in New York City. Although interest in art came later in life, watercolor painting has assumed a more prominent role as she is inspired by her love of gardening and travel. Ms. Ferraro has studied with artists Lynn Schulman, Janice Cianflone and Dmitri Wright and has exhibited her work in venues including the Sugar Loaf Arts Festival (2007), Katonah at the “Women supporting Women Art Show” (2009-2013), the KMAA Members’ 2010 Juried Show (Carriage Barn Arts Center, New Canaan 2010), “Flora and Fauna Exhibit” (John Hart Library, 2010), Art to the Avenue (Greenwich, 2011- 2013), and Art In the Windows, (New Canaan, 2011). Ms. Ferraro attended New York’s High School of Performing Arts where she majored in ballet and studied piano at the Third Street Settlement Music School. She earned her degree in Political Science from St. John’s University and upon graduation, she taught high school Social Studies for 22 years and was a principal for 16 years.
