Melanie grew up in Wallingford where she attended the Wallingford schools and graduated from LymanHall High School. She’s been employed at the Hartford for over 30 years. She currently lives in MeridenCT with her husband, son & 2 Boston Terriers, Charlee & Riglee. She had 2 other Boston Terriers before Charlee & Riglee so she decided on the name Two Bostons Quilting because of her love of BostonTerriers & quilting.

She is a self-taught artis who started quilting around 2009. Her mother who was also a quilter inspired her to start quilting. In her spare time she loves to quilt and creates other crafts using fabric.She shows her work at Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook, CT
