The works of Lois Blood Bennett are the result of collaboration between a human artist and a computer program. They are based on “fractal flames,” a mathematical construct capable of creating great complexity from relatively simple equations. The result is a form with texture and the transparent effects, movement and line that feels organic. These are printed as giclée on canvas. In other pursuits Lois does fiber arts and painting. Though Lois has made art all her life; her training is not in art but in electrical engineering.
Lois’s artwork is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
