Dina Belyayeva

Dina Belyayeva was born and raised near Moscow, Russia, and received her fine arts training at a school affiliated with a historical artist colony where great Russian artists found creative inspiration.  After her move to the U.S., she worked in academics and business while supporting her family. In 2017 she returned to painting, drawing on the inspiration from her immediate surroundings. Her works are primarily representational covering a wide range of subjects with an intent to capture immediacy, impermanence, and invite contemplation.  Dina is participating in local and national exhibitions. In 2018 one of her works was selected for a member exhibited at the New Britain Museum of American Art. In 2020 she was a recipient of the Nancy Fritsche Award as part of the CT+6 regional exhibit at West Hartford Art League.

Belyayeva is a Council Member of Connecticut Women Artists Inc., she is also affiliated with several local art leagues. Her work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
