Ceal Swift began painting 15 years ago taking her first class at Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan, CT. She studied with Alex McFarlane, Chris Golbach, and Carey Parker Schwartz. Ceal also studied with Anda Styler at Rowayton Art Center.
This lead to a new journey of discovery, soon painting became a great passion in her life. She retired 6 years ago and now has the time to pursue what she enjoys most.
Her goal is to keep growing as an artist by allowing her own distinct style to evolve as she captures and connects to the world around me. Many of Ceal’s paintings are inspired by travels to golf destinations with her husband.
Ceal’s artwork has been accepted to juried shows in Connecticut and Wisconsin. She has also participated in group shows, as well as having a number of solo shows. She is a member of Lyme Art Association, Rowayton Art Center, Stamford Art Association and Madison Art Society.
