Carol Gwillam is a resident of Killingworth. After leaving the corporate world she attended several art classes in Guilford, Middletown, New Haven and the surrounding area for the purpose of learning different skills. Learning several distinctive versions of design was helpful in appreciating that fiber and glass were her mediums of choice. For several years her work was exhibited in several towns including New Haven, Branford, Brookfield and Newtown. She shows are delightful holiday stockings annually at Spectrum Art Gallery in Centerbrook.
In her spare time she works with several organizations that aid children and families during the holidays by fulfilling their wish lists. The organizations chosen are committed to improving the future of our children while helping families and communities grow and thrive. By healing the wounds of today, we are creating a better world for tomorrow.
