Barbara Soares, MA, is an award-winning fine art photographer, musician, certified sound healing practitioner and digital imaging pioneer. She received her training in photography and creative arts expression from The New School, Pratt Institute, Barnard College, and The Graduate Institute, and has studied with Arthur Robbins, John Paul Caponigro, Tillman Crane and Alberto Villoldo. Her work has been shown in galleries, schools, and alternate spaces in New York City, Connecticut and Westchester, including the Mattatuck Museum, Canton Artists Guild, Silvermine Guild Arts Center, Washington Art Association, Artwell Gallery, Carriage Barn Art Center and the Atrium Gallery of the Warner Theatre. Her artwork is held in private and public collections in NY, CT, MA, NH and ME.  Barbara is also a member of Gallery 25, Creative Arts Studio located in New Milford, CT. Her photography and poetry have also been featured in the CT edition of Natural Awakenings magazine. Barbara’s work is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
