Artist, Anne Coffey, lives and creates her artwork along the shoreline in Branford, Connecticut. She loves to create collages, as well as paintings that contain bits of collage. When working in collage, Coffey often use papers that she has painted with watercolor or acrylic, or pieces of her monoprints, as well as found papers. Anne finds inspiration around her as well as in her travels, gardens, Long Island Sound, harbors, city skylines, music and poetry. Yet, at times, Anne finds merely the color and composition of paint and paper is enough to satisfy her.
Coffey’s artwork is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
