Amy D

Portfolio Categories: Jewelry.

Amy D has always been a creative person. Her love of clay as a child led to her discovery of Precious Metal Clay (PMC) as a young adult. She took a few classes to learn the basics of PMC but is mostly self-taught.

After making enough jewelry to last her family and friends multiple lifetimes, she was told she should start selling her work online. So, Amy opened up her first online shop almost 12 years ago.

Since then she has become a Certified Metal Clay Artisan, was featured in Inc. Magazine, and has won multiple awards, including the latest: a Certificate of Merit from the 2020 Fall AMCAW Challenge.

She has donated several of her pieces to benefit non-profit organizations including the AIA and Wounded Warrior Project.

Her Nature collection, as well as her distinctive Industrial Jewelry Line is currently exhibited at Spectrum Gallery in Centerbrook Connecticut and can be found in shops throughout southern New England.
